About this service
Select A Solar is an independent quote-comparison marketplace. We are not a solar, battery or EV charger installer, and we do not carry out any installation work ourselves. We match users with third-party MCS-certified installers based on the information submitted through our quote form.
No obligation
Using Select A Solar is free and carries no obligation to proceed with any installer or quote. You are free to decline every quote you receive.
Accuracy of information
We take reasonable care to keep cost, grant and scheme information accurate and current, citing official sources such as gov.uk, Ofgem, MCS and the Energy Saving Trust. However, pricing and eligibility ultimately depend on your specific property and circumstances, as confirmed by the installer providing your quote.
Installer relationships
Installers matched through Select A Solar are independent businesses. We require MCS certification as a condition of joining our network, but we are not a party to any contract you enter into with an installer, and we are not responsible for the quality or outcome of any installation work.
Referral fees
We receive a referral fee from installers when a customer accepts a quote. This is already reflected in the installer's own pricing and does not add any cost to you.
